PURPOSE: A telephone is provided to make a user to telephone to a recipient by pushing four consonants corresponding to an initial sound of the Korean language after pushing a local number and a code. CONSTITUTION: A telephone in which a telephone number and the Korean language alphabet are sequentially matched, comprises switching a numeric mode into a Korean language mode, inputting an initial sound consonant, inputting a vowel after pushing an asterisk, inputting the sound of a bell after pushing an asterisk, pushing a space button, and inputting a next character using the steps.
