PURPOSE: An automatic editing method of dial number is provided to be capable of shifting the automatic dial number at one time by storing a telephone number at a new address while deleting a number at a previous address. CONSTITUTION: An automatic dial number editing method comprises the step of judging whether a search key is inputted(S202). If so, telephone number information stored in a phone book list is detected according to a predetermined order(S203), and the detected information is displayed(S204). If a shift key is inputted(S205), a message for requiring an input of a new address for shifting of the telephone number information is displayed(S206). If valid one-touch address key is inputted as a new address(S207,S208,S209), the telephone number information is stored at the new address(S210), and information stored at a previous address is deleted(S211). If a stop key is input(S212), the procedure is ended.
