The equipment is provided for a vehicle (5) having a traction motor (3) and electronic control (2) allowing energy recovery. The control can be switched (2') to regulate the charging of the batteries (1) from a DC source via sliding contacts (52,53) with rails (62,63) laid on the carriageway at the charging station. One pole (22) of the control is wired to a switch (41) enabling it to be disconnected from the motor and transferred to one of the sliding contacts via a choke (42). The rails are supported resiliently on protective structures (64,64') with angled surfaces (65,65') for guidance of pivoted rollers on the vehicle. |
