<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for use in the extraction of oil and/or gas from a well with a formation, wherein the apparatus comprises a first pipeline (1) that is at a first end in flow connection with the production formation and at the second end opposite the first end in connection with a surface well head; and a second pipeline (2); wherein, between the first and the second pipelines, a flow opening (6) is provided that allows flow from the first pipeline (1) to the second pipeline (2); and a flow opening (5) that allows flow from the second pipeline (2) to the first pipeline (1); wherein means (7) are provided that can be caused to block at least the one of the two flow openings.
