<p>The indicator is used for personal recording and currentmonitoring of the presence and intensity of the ultraviolet (UV)radiation, especially of UV-A and UVB, in the solar spectrum. Theinstrument consists of a housing (1) in the form of a straightcylinder, in the front end of which a light filter (2) and afterit - a luminophophor screen (3) are fitted. The housing issupplied with a glass ocular lens (4) for visual observation ofscreen (3). The screen includes a semitransparent visual field onboth sides of which two luminophor sectors - left - and righthandones, are fitted, luminiscenting in the presence of UV radiation:UV-A or UV-B, respectively, proportional to the intensity of thisradiation.1 claims, 2 figures</p> |
