Portable high frequency transmitter

The HF transmitter has an antenna for transmitting a radio signal, whereby a phase-locked loop has a voltage-controlled oscillator or VCO (1) for regulating the frequency of the radio signal (SHF) to a demand frequency. The antenna (10) is connected into the phase-locked loop (1-4) as part of the VCO. The antenna is a loop antenna and the VCO has a stage for amplitude modulation of the radio signal. An Independent claim is also included for the use of the transmitter in a portable form.
