Cage-based seal for conical roller bearing

The seal has an annular bearer body (3), preferably made from sheet, with holding sectors (12) molded onto it. The holding sectors fit in the side ring (2) of a standard cage (1). The circumferential edges (4) of the bearer body extend almost to the sealing surfaces (5) of the running rings (6,7) and have elastomer sealing lips (10) vulcanized onto them.
