<p>A process for easily producing deoxynucleosides directly from testis by a very simple procedure at a high yield which comprises treating testis (for example, soft roe) with an alkali to thereby hydrolyze DNAs in the testis into polydeoxynucleotides in appropriate sizes and, at the same time, converting double stranded DNAs into single stranded ones; further treating the hydrolyzates with nuclease P1 and acid phosphatase to give a mixture of deoxynucleosides; and separating and taking up each deoxynucleoside from the obtained mixture by a chromatographic method.</p> |
