A control device with liquid cooling includes a heat- exchanger (2) arranged on the outer wall (11) of the control device and having a large surface area, and flowed through with liquid coolant. A heat-conducting contact plate (3) with at least one elastic zone (31), which is pressed on an outer wall of the control device, is directly and thermally coupled with one side of the heat exchanger (2). More specifically the heat-exchanger has a number of parallel flow-paths (21) for the coolant liquid. The heat-exchanger (2) is more specifically connected into the motor vehicle combustion engine coolant circulation.
