A refuse disposing apparatus for completely decomposing and disposing garbage by the action of microorganisms, comprising an agitation/mixing mechanism (15) disposed inside a tank (13) having a mesh-like bottom (13a) for storing the garbage, for agitating and mixing a carrier carrying thereon microorganisms and the garbage with the agitation/mixing mechanism, and a water injection mechanism (17) for injecting water from outside the tank (13) into the mesh-like bottom (13a), disposed below the mesh-like bottom (13a) of the tank.
