The additional components consist of a skid protection (20) formed with a fixture arm (21) and a skid protection component (22) locating on the tire running surface (17). Several holders (12), preferably 3 to 5, are incorporated in the rim (1) or wheel disk (2), being symmetrically distributed over the wheel periphery. Each holding device is formed by a pocket-shaped accommodation, the shape of which makes possible an insertion of the fixture end (23) of the fixture arm. At least one securing device (14) can be fitted in the accommodation, with the inserted fixture arm being locked in the fitted state. The fixture arm is of metal or fibre-reinforced plastic and the skid protection component is of plastic or a tire-type material. An Independent claim is included for a skid protection device.
