Braking system with traction regulation function for an automobile

The braking system has inlet and outlet valves for traction regulation by altering the braking pressure supplied to the wheel brakes under control of an electronic traction regulation control. Dependent on the hydraulic pressure provided by the master braking cylinder, the pressure for the wheel brakes is reduced by opening the inlet valves when the master braking cylinder pressure is below the pressure of the wheel brakes. An Independent claim is also included for an operating method for a braking system.
