An object is produced by pouring a liquid binder onto coarse granules (16) in a mold (2) and removing excess binder by suction. An object is produced from coarse granules (e.g. of ≥ 0.1 mm size) by pouring a liquid binder onto the granules (16) in a mold (2) having an evacuation opening (6) of size less than that of the granules, through which excess binder is withdrawn by suction (11). Independent claims are also included for: (i) an ignition tube, especially for artillery munitions, produced by the above process; and (ii) a propellant charge, especially for artillery munitions, produced by the above process. |
