The circuit includes at least one oscillator circuit which is connected via two terminals (2,3) to an external oscillation element (4). At least three series-connected amplifier stages (8,18,19) are arranged on the semiconductor chip between the terminals. A low resistance serial resistor (7) is integrated on the chip. At least two capacitive elements (5,6) of the oscillation element are integrated on the semiconductor chip.
