Twin screw extruder for resin pellet production

A twin screw extruder has end feed sections (5a, 5b) separated by a common kneading section (6a, 6b) located in a cylinder section provided with the outlet (8). A twin screw extruder has: (a) material feed sections (5a, 5b) located at both ends of the two screws (2, 3); and (b) kneading sections (6a, 6b) of enlarged screw pitch located at the outlet sides of the feed sections (5a, 6b) and joined together at the middle of the screws in a cylinder section provided with an outlet connection (8) connected by a helical gear pump (9) to an underwater cutting device (12).
