A porous membrane (6) is placed between composite being molded and vacuum sheet (13) . Its pores are sized to vent air freely, whilst retaining the liquid matrix material (3) Preferred features: Pore size is 1-5 mu m, preferably 3 mm. Sheet thickness is 10-60 mu m. Between membrane and vacuum sheet, fabric(s) and/or nonwoven(s) and/or pressure section(s) are introduced. Between membrane and molding to be, a similar assembly is introduced. The assembly is used as a laminate in the composite product. The preform (4) is a fibrous intermediate product; the matrix material in liquid form. The matrix is alternatively a film. In a further variant, the preform is a prepreg, impregnated with the matrix.
