The individual wind shelter (1) comprises two sidewalls (6) connected by a cover (7). The cover extends over all the common height of the sidewalls and over a part of their length. Each rear part of the sidewalls has a shape (8) which is common with that of the cover so that the cover defines a convex surface able to contain a person sitting vertically on a deck chair (4) inside the shelter. The shelter sidewalls have an overhang (12) from the front end of the rear edge (8) and from the front end (14) of the cover.
