Use of acyl carnitine(s) (I) in cosmetic or dermatological preparations for the treatment and/or prevention of the symptoms of intrinsic and/or extrinsic skin aging, is new. ACTIVITY : Skin protectant; dermatological; hair growth stimulant; antiinflammatory. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin and DNA synthesis stimulant; cell replication and regeneration promoter.
