PURPOSE: A system and a method for connecting to the Internet using a keyboard are provided to minimize the load applied on a server by using a keyboard having a shortcut for Internet connection, to easily change the data of a specific URL(Uniform Resource Locator) when the URL of a site is changed, and to make a beginner easily connect to the Internet by offering statistical data for the connection per time, period, and rank. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a router(300) for optimizing a transfer path of information with response to a request of a user computer(100) connected to the Internet(200), a URL server(400) for connecting the user computer to a server(600) of a corresponding site by receiving the URL information of the server from the user computer, and a database server(500) for storing the URL information of sites and statistical data about the site to which the user computer is connected. A user selects a site via a keyboard(110) having an Internet shortcut.
