摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision prevention control method for vehicles which provides information for AHS vehicles from the roadside and decreases the number of vehicles colliding one after another (damage of multiple pileup) as much as possible. SOLUTION: For this method, provided are a road state grasping means 4, a data input processing means 5, a collision avoiding arithmetic means 6 equipped with a function of performing a vehicle travel prediction operation from the type, speed, and position of a vehicle capable of exchanging information with the roadside and the types, speeds, and positions of vehicles nearby the vehicle if an accident occurs or if an obstacle is present and a function of determining a lane where the vehicle capable of exchanging the information with the roadside is made to avoid a collision and a function of determining a lane where the damage of the collision is minimum if it is predicted that the collision can not be avoided, a data output processing means 7, and a data transmitting means 8.
