PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop cover for a helmet which not only can be simply and rapidly fixed and removed from a cap body of a helmet but also can be stably fixed. SOLUTION: This drop cover for a helmet comprises an upper ring part 1b-1 and a lower ring part 1b-2, and outer edges 1b' of these ring parts are integrated to constitute a V-shaped sectional area opening inward. The upper ring part 1b-1 comprises a fitting part 1b to be detachably fitted and attached to the circumferential part of the lower end of the cap body so that the upper ring part does not come off the circumferential part of the lower end of the cap body downward or hardly comes off outside and a drop cover body 1a which is composed of a cover rear part 1a-1 and right and left cover side parts 1a-2 covering the back of the head and the both sides of the head of a helmet wearer and is hung from the fitting part 1b.
