PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly extract required data from various data stored in an exchange of an active system, and process the data in an easy-to-see format equivalent to that of data of a drawing format having conventionally been stored in an installed place and displays the resulting data. SOLUTION: This invention provides a method for reproducing original data of an exchange that reproduces original data of the exchange used for a communication network system, its terminal and a recording medium. The method employs a batch file generating tool 5 that collects hardware mount information specific to the exchange stored in a specific exchange 1 in operation and maintenance information such as routing information and an original data reproduction tool 6 that analyzes the collected information specific to the exchange, extracts element data of the original data, converts the data into data with a table form, and reproduces and outputs the converted data, and the work terminal 9 executes each tool.
