METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MINERAL BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a new mineral board having excellent performances such as determent of efflorescence, improvement of adhesion of a surface decorative coating, prevention of fading and the like. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a mineral board wherein raw material having cement as a main component is molded and cured, cement natured slurry containing a resin which is not melted before curing and melted in curing together with amorphous active silica is applied or scattered to a surface of an original board before molding or a molded board even after molding and before curing. After curing, a cementitious surface layer containing the amorphous active silica and the resin in formed after curing.
