PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pallet which is strong though light weight for workability and which has no inconvenience of processing for disposal or of becoming too old for use. SOLUTION: This relates to a roughly plate shape pallet for transporting an item placed thereon. A plurality of long and narrow panel shape main panels are laid sideways for forming a roughly rectangular mounting face. Between two mounting faces, a roughly panel shape connecting member is placed for connecting the faces and forming the pallet. The main panels are made of light and corrosion resistant metal. Of the main panels placed sideways, at least the panels placed near both ends are formed in tubular bodies integrating two long and narrow panel shape bodies having a roughly U shape cross section with their openings facing each other.
