<p>In order to provide a thermal insulated support, which can be fabricated with a high efficiency and which can maintain its insulating properties in the long term, a support is provided which comprises (a) a thermal insulating member (3) having an inner peripheral surface (3b), (b) a thermal insulated supporting member (1) having an inner peripheral surface (1a), wherein surface (1a) has a radius of curvature that is the same as that of surface (3b), and wherein the thermal insulated supporting member (1) is mounted in a cut-out opening portion (3c) of the thermal insulating member (3), characterized in that a preformed thermal insulating member (2) is disposed between the thermal insulating member (3) and the thermal insulated supporting member (1), and in that the thermal insulated supporting member (1), the thermal insulating member (3) and the preformed thermal insulating member (2) are integrated. Since the thermal insulating member (3), the thermal insulated supporting member (1) and the preformed thermal insulating member (2) are integrated, there is no distortion owing to remaining stresses, even when the support is exposed to temperature variations which occur in practice. Accordingly, cracking and peeling of the insulating material is prevented. <IMAGE></p> |
