摘要 sorption methods of solution decontamination from radioactive strontium. SUBSTANCE: method that may be used for extracting strontium radionuclides from solutions of high hardness salt content and from liquid radioactive wastes of complex chemical composition involves joint processes of sorption and coprecipitation of strontium on sorption-reagent material. The latter is formed directly in the course of decontamination as result of reaction between source sorption-reagent material containing barium cation-exchange resins and decontaminated solution containing sulfate ions. This reaction results in formation of insoluble barium sulfate in sorption-reagent material matrix. Amorphous barium silicate or amorphous barium titanate, or amorphous barium zirconate is used as sorption-reagent material. Barium content in matrix of mentioned materials is, respectively, g per gram of material: 0.005-0.250, 0.005- 0.300, 0.005-0.200. Sorption-reagent materials used in this method have pore volume of 0.50 to 0.400 cm3/g of material and effective pore radii of 2 to 30 nm. Sulfate ion concentration in decontaminated solution is minimum 3 x 10-3 M/dm3.
