PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to maintain the good molten fluidity of a molded material even though ferrite magnetic powder is highly filled in the molded material, by a method wherein in the case where a composition for resin magnet is prepared, the ferrite magnetic powder, which is obtained by removing the component of fine powder below a mean particle diameter in ferrite fine powder from the ferrite magnetic powder in a specified range to the whole quantity of the ferrite magnetic powder, is used. SOLUTION: In the case where ferrite magnetic powder having a mean particle diameter of 0.7 to 3μm is mixed and scattered into a resin binder formed using singly a polyamide resin, an epoxy resin and a variety of thermoplastic resins such as a polypropylene resin, a polyethylene resin and a polystyrene resin, or in combination more than two of the above resins with each other to prepare a composition for resin magnet, ferrite magnetic powder obtained by removing the component of fine powder below a mean particle diameter of 0.7 to 3μm in the above ferrite magnetic powder from the above ferrite magnetic powder in a range of 1 to 20 wt.% to the whole quantity of the above ferrite magnetic powder is used. As a result even if the ferrite magnetic powder is highly filled in a molded material for an increase in the magnetic force of the molded material, the molded material can maintain a good molten fluidity.
