<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that a connector is dropped off from an electric connection terminal by providing a recess part or a projection part for locking in the outside of the electric connection terminal. SOLUTION: When thermoplastic resin tubes 2, 2 to be connected are inserted into the inside of receiver ports in the both ends of a thermoplastic resin pipe joint 1 and fixed from the outside by a clamp, and an insertion part 51 for a connector 5 of a fusing machine is inserted into an electric connection terminal 14 of the pipe joint 1, a ring provided inside the insertion part 51 of the connector 5 is fitted, locked, and fused with a recess part 141 recessed in the outside of the electric connection terminal 14. A spiral electric heat generating element 13 embedded in the pipe wall of the receiver port is energized in this state so as to generate heat, the pipe wall of the receiver port is heated and melted to be integrally connected to the pipe wall of the resin tube 2. The possibility that the connector 5 is dropped off from the electric connection terminal 14 can be thus reduced by locking the connector 5 to the electric connection terminal 14.</p> |
