PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device with which a map is displayed easy to watch and that map can be displayed so as to easily recognize the display contents. SOLUTION: This information display device is provided with a display device 29, information processor 6 for generating a map display picture on the display device 29 based on map information, displaying respective facilities belonging to the kind of a facility selected by a selection menu for selecting any kind of facility by superimposing figures on their located positions on the map display picture and further for generating a name display picture for displaying a name corresponding to the facility made correspondent to that figure and that figure.
