PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor having a position detector with a high withstand voltage and is scarcely damaged, even if a surge voltage penetrates it. SOLUTION: This brushless motor is constituted of a stator having a plurality of poles radially implanted to an annular yoke and a winding wound on the poles via an insulator, a permanent magnet rotor having a shaft rotatably supported opposite to a bore of the stator via an air gap, a Hall IC 11 mounted at the collar of the insulator to detect the position of the rotor pole, and a conducting controller for controlling the rotation of the rotor according to an output of the IC 11. In this case, capacitors 15, each having a small capacitance of 0.01 to 0.001μF, are respectively connected between lead terminals 11a and 11b of the IC 11 and between the lead terminals 11b and 11c.
