GOLD-ALUMINUM ALLOY, ITS PRODUCTION AND ORNAMENT OR ACCESSORY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an Au-Al alloy capable of exhibiting a color which has not been exhibited heretofore, to provide a method for producing it and to provide a noble metal ornament showing an excellent appearance. SOLUTION: Au powder having 5 to 50μm particle size and Al powder having 5 to 50μm particle size are mixed so as to regulate to 8 to 63 wt.%, and the mixed powder is subjected to sintering treatment at 790 to 900 deg.C for 30 sec to 20 min. This ornament or accessory can be obtd. by melting an Au-Al alloy, pouring the melted Au-Al alloy into a shape having cavities with a desired shape and solidifying it.
