PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film which has a good balance of stiffness and heat- sealing characteristics and excellent blocking resistance and which has little components soluble in organic materials such as fats and oils and whose application is not so much limited and to provide a propylene-based polymer from which the film can be obtained. SOLUTION: A propylene-based polymer has a peak temperature of loss tangent in dynamic viscoelastic measurements, tp, and a propylene content, Fp, which satisfy the relationship of the inequality: tp<=-1.63×(100-Fp)+18.30 and a xylene soluble matter Xs at 23 deg.C of 2.0 wt.% or lower. A film comprises the same.
