Use of alpha-omega substituted oxyalkylated silicones in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals

alpha - omega Oxyalkylene substituted silicone (I) is used in a cosmetic, dermatological, hygienic and/or pharmaceutical composition: (1) for limiting, decreasing and/or eliminating the transfer or the migration of the composition; or (2) for improving the resistance of the composition. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a water in oil emulsion comprising an aqueous phase and an oil phase comprising a silicone oil containing alpha - omega oxyalkylene substituted silicone of formula (Ia), and colorant components; and (2) a composition comprising the above emulsion. m = 100; R = (CH2)3-O-(C2H4O)x-(C3H6O)y-CH3; x = 3-100; and y = 1-50. The weight ratio of C2H4O to C3H6O is 42:58 and the average molecular weight of R is 800-1000.
