<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a driving circuit having a high operating frequency on a TFT substrate without using a COG(Chip on glass) method and to provide a liquid crystal display device which simplifies the mounting process. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with a 1st substrate having a display part which has at least a switching element 131 and a driving circuit 133 for operating the display part and a 2nd substrate where a counter electrode is formed and has a liquid crystal material sandwiched between the 1st and 2nd substrates; and a semiconductor chip having a driving circuit 133 formed in the same process with the display part is arranged on the 1st substrate and a wire connecting the driving circuit 133 to the switching element 131 formed at the display part is formed across the semiconductor chip and 1st substrate.</p> |
