PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a positioning means to have an electromagnet for positioning chip-like components by attraction due to energization, and to energize the electromagnet without inclining the chiplike components in an undesirable posture, by turning off a pick-up means when performing a pick-up operation. SOLUTION: A fixed pipe 14 is arranged at the center of an exhaust port 13 being provided at the bottom of a hopper 12 with a specific interval for the inner-periphery edge of the exhaust port 13. The chiplike electronic components 1 that are guided through the fixed pipe 14 are maintained in an aligned state and at the same time are mounted on a conveyor 18 and are carried along a carrier path 19. Then, by providing an electromagnet 20 as a positioning means, the top chiplike electronic component 1 being carried is attracted and positioned by the electromagnet 20 at the end of the carrier path 19, and the energization of the electromagnet 20 is turned off when the chiplike electronic component 1 is picked up by a vacuum suction chuck 22 that is a pick-up means. |
