PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair cushion body mounting structure, capable of reducing the number of parts and excellent in cost performance and in design. SOLUTION: When an engaging member 19 is inserted into a mounting hole 20 in a shell 10 from its tip part until its intermediate head part is brought into contact with the shell 10, the engaging member 19 is planted in the shell 10, while a cushion body 11, in which a cushioning material 14 and an upholstering material 24 are mounted to a core material 12, is formed. After the head part of the engaging member 19 is passed through the large diameter hole of a bell-shaped hole 22 bored in the core material 12 of the cushion body 11, the engaging member 19 is locked in the small diameter hole, so that the core material 12 is positioned between the head part and the intermediate head part of the engaging member 19, and consequently, the cushion body 11 is installed to the shell 10. |
