METHOD TO JUDGE PARAMETER SHOWING PROGRESS OF EXTERNAL BLOOD TREATMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for perpetual continuation of treatment different from a condition prescribed for a patient by making blood and dialysate flow to both sides of semipermeable membrane of a membrane exchanger to judge the effectiveness of an external treatment of blood. SOLUTION: Blood and dialysate of a patient are made to flow respectively in two sections 2, 3 divided by semipermeable membrane 4 of a blood dialyzer 1 as a membrane exchanger. During continuing blood dialysis session for about 4 hours, the stability properties of the dialysate are changed to generate perturbation in the exchanging state established in the blood dialyzer 1. The quantity showing the fluctuation given to the properties of the dialysate is judged at the upper stream of the blood dialyzer 1. The quantity showing fluctuation of properties deformed by exchange generated with respect to properties if the blood dialyzer 1 is judged at the lower stream of the blood dialyzer 1. Parameters to present effectiveness of executed treatment is calculated based on those judgements.
