PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high accuracy with high resolution, without increasing the diameter of a flat-shaped stepping motor. SOLUTION: This stepping motor is constituted of a first unit motor, which comprises a first unit rotor R11, which rotatably supports a magnetic-body disk, on which N-pole and S-pole are alternately disposed having a predetermined space with magnetic pole surfaces of a first unit stator S11, which radially disposes predetermined number of magnetic poles, by disposing a predetermined number of pole teeth and fitting coils, on the magnetic-body disk electrically insulated; and a second unit motor, which is composed of the reversed structure of the first unit motor, and is coaxially composed of with a non- magnetic-body disk interposed. In such a configuration, it is desirable to displace for a half pitch-angle the forming position of the magnetic poles, which is formed in each unit stator S11 and S12; to displace for a quarter pitch-angle the forming position of the magnetic poles, which is formed in each unit rotor R11 and R12; and further, to star-connect each coil; and to enable excitation of a plural number of phases.
