PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission power control for each code channel, without incurring increase of power consumption or circuit scale in performing multicode transmission, which uses plural code channels in a code division multiplex access(CDMA) terminal by a frequency spread modulation. SOLUTION: Variable gain circuit 16A and 16B are equipped respectively on the output side of spread circuits 15A and 15B provided for every code channel, outputs of the variable gain circuits 16A and 16B are summed by adders 17 and 18, quadrature modulation is performed by a modulator 20, and a transmission signal is obtained. Furthermore, a variable gain circuit 22 for adjusting the level of the transmission signal is provided. Adjustment of an average transmission power of code channels is performed by the variable gain circuit 22, and these individual adjustments are performed by the variable gain circuits 16A and 16B. |
