PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit of a comparatively simple constitution which can lower the luminance in a phantom state even when it's irradiated outdoors, etc., by the sunlight by preparing a fiber flocked part on each plane that is set at the light emission observation surface side existing between the light emitting diodes. SOLUTION: An LED unit 106 which has a light transmissive lens type panel 103 at its surface side and is substantially sealed up is prepared to protect the light emitting diodes 102 and an internal circuit. The unit 106 includes a circuit substrate 206 where the diodes 102 are arrayed in desired shapes of arrows, circles, pedestrians, etc. Meanwhile, each diode 102 has a mold lens including an LED chip that is covered with resin to improve its front luminous intensity. The plate type light shielding members of a dark color group are placed among the diodes 102 and almost in parallel to the substrate 206. Furthermore, a fiber flocked worked part 101 is added on each light shielding member as a plane existing at the light emission observation surface side. |
