<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device which can suspend reactivation of a filter on the way thereof. SOLUTION: This device has a filter 8 through which exhaust gas passes for capturing particulates in the gas, a filter housing vessel 9 in which the filter 8 is housed, an exhaust gas introduction piping 5 for supplying the exhaust gas into the filter housing vessel 9, an exhaust gas discharging piping 11 for discharging the purified exhaust gas from the filter housing vessel 9, an electric heater 10 arranged inside the filter housing vessel 9 for heating the filter 8, and an air blower 4 for supplying reactivated air into the filter housing vessel 9 through a reactivating air introduction piping 7. In such a case, current carrying to the electric heater 10 and the air blower 4 is stopped for suspending the reactivation of the filter 8 which is carried out by burning the particulates adhered to the filter 8.</p> |
