<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drift of paper sheets by stopping a side fence interlocking means interlocking a pair of side fences at an interval matched with the width of the paper sheets loaded on a paper loading section with a brake means at the time of paper feeding. SOLUTION: When paper sheets are set on a paper loading section, the interval of a pair of side fences is adjust to the width of the paper sheets on the paper loading section. When the paper loading section is lifted for paper feeding, the projection part 67 of a brake mechanism 23 is separated from a cover 3, and a disk face 57 is brought into contact with the bottom face of the pinion 31 of a side fence interlocking means to press it by spring pressure via a fulcrum 61. A high-friction material such as a rubber material is stuck to the disk face 57, and it strongly regulates the rotation of the pinion 31. A pair of side fences are thus fixed. The paper sheets on the paper loading section are fed into a main body by a paper feed roller 15, thereby the drift of the paper sheets at the time of paper feeding can be prevented.</p> |
