PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure simply a groove angle of V groove for groove welding. SOLUTION: A set of a sector reference gauge plate 1 and an index gauge plate 2 of which central anglesθ1 are also formed to 45 deg. is slidably disposed such that top portions O are coincident and superposed on each other. A gauge angle adjusting mechanism 9 for adjusting a gauge angleθ0 formed by the reference standard plate 1 and the index gauge plate 2 by sliding both gauge plates 1, 2 of which the top portions O are as a center is assembled between both plates 1, 2. An angle graduation 8 put on the index gauge plate 2 is read by a cursor 5 set on one radius leg of the reference standard plate 1.
