PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser printer which can perform high-quality printing by accurately scanning with a beam at equal intervals. SOLUTION: The timing of a scan is found by detecting by a beam detecting means part of a beam with which a cylindrical photoreceptor 6 rotating in the circumferential direction is scanned axially from a beam exciting means through a polygon mirror 2 and a reflecting means 5, and a judging means 9 controls an angle adjusting means according to the timing of the scan to adjust the angle of reflection of the reflecting means 5, thereby correcting circumferential intervals of beam with to be scanned on the photoreceptor 6. |
