PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator that employs a single landing or car call register device for well conditioned persons as well as for physically handicapped persons for its functionality and usability. SOLUTION: When a landing call button 1D is depressed within a preset period after a landing call register button 1C for physically handicapped persons is depressed, this call is registered as a landing call by a physically handicapped person so that the opening period of a door 1A when the car arrives is prolonged. When the landing call button 1D is pressed with the handicapped-related call register button 1C being not depressed, this call is registered as a landing call by a well conditioned person so that that door opening period when the car arrives is never prolonged or is held short. A landing call register device 1B is disposed at such a place and has such a shape as allowing both well conditioned persons and physically handicapped persons to handle easily. |
