PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the number of part constituting an aligner at a minimum necessary level, and to eliminate the adjusting operation to adjust the position of focal point, by a method wherein a part of a retaining member and the surface, where the light emitting element chip mounting substrate is fixed, are maintained until they are hardened by injecting a hardening agent. SOLUTION: A light emitting element chip array 1 and a driver chip, and a limited resistor are mounted on a light emitting element chip mounting substrate 4 in an aligner 30. The mounting substrate 4 is fixed to a base plate 7, which performs an additional function of heat dissipation, using a bonding agent. Also, a rod lens array 3 is fixed to a cover 6 having the function of preventing the light leaking from the light emitting chip array 1, and the rod lens array 3 is accurately positioned on the place where an image is formed as the microscopic spot on the surface of an image holding body 2. Also, an ultraviolet ray setting adhesive 8 is injected between the surface 7a, where the cover 6 and the mounting substrate 4 of the base plate 7 are fixed, and the surfaces 7b and 7c, and the cover 8 and the mounting substrate 4 are fixed. |
