PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a safe humectant, agent for preventing lowering of immunity or skin preparation for external use, comprising a specific mushroom extract. SOLUTION: This agent comprises extracts of one or more kinds of mushrooms selected from Flammulina velutipes, Pleurotus eryngii, Lentinus edodes, Lyophyllum aggregattum, Pholiota nameko, Agaricus bisporus, Agaricus campestris, Agaricus blazei Merrill and Grifola frondosa. The agent can be utilized as a humectant and an agent for preventing lowering of immunity and further, effective in preventing and treating roughened skin and dried skin and can impart gloss and tenseness to skin. Damage of LC cell deeply concerns in immunodepression of skin and the extracts of the agent have effect normally retaining LC cell. |
