摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image excellent in balance of glossiness and resistance to a spent phenomenon of toner by making the volume average particle size of black toner larger than that of other toner in an image forming method by non-contact thermal melting fixation. SOLUTION: In this image forming method by non-contact thermal melting fixing; the volume average particle size of the black toner is made larger than those of the yellow toner, the magenta toner and the cyan toner. Thus, heat conduction is controlled and stable gloss balanced with other colors is obtained. The glossiness is more excellent by setting the volume average particle size of the black toner to 1.05 to 1.25 times, desirably, 1.10 to 1.20 times as large as those of the yellow toner, the magenta toner and the cyan toner. When the volume average particle size of the black toner is 7 to 10μm and that of the yellow, the magenta, and the cyan toner is 5 to 8μm, the toner is prevented from being spent and image quality is improved.</p>
