PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding the withdrawal pitch in a heating furnace for hot-rolled material. SOLUTION: At the time of deciding the extending time of heating, in the case of needing the heating extending time by (t) min to to material, whose leating time needs to be extended, staying in the heating furnace, and in the case of using the sum of material widths of the whole material stayed in the furnace from the heating extending objective material to an ejecting part in the heating furnace for W and the material width of each materials for wi , the withdrawal pitch of the materials is extended by t×(wi /W) min.
