The transmission units (12,13,16,17) are designed such that during lateral movement of steerable portion (8) and forward displacement at any one of the engagement positions (18,19), the steerable portion at other engagement position relative to yoke (9) either does not move backwards or move laterally by a distance less than forward displacement. The yoke rotation control mechanism includes steering gear for controlling an implement (3) coupled to a tractor (2) by a yoke structure (9). Transmission units (12,13,16,17) are provided between the steerable portion (8) and transmission structures spaced apart in a horizontal direction transverse to a processing direction (11).
